Ambrosia is the best, and probably one of the few Greek restaurants in its area and going out further northwest into the Chicago suburbs. I've enjoyed their food for years. Their chicken gyros and Greek fries are amazing. I've always had great dining experiences here. The service is quick, ambience is lovely and fresh. 5 out of 5 stars always.

Delicious homemade, fresh to order Greek fare. You cannot miss the Greek Chicken, it melts in your mouth. Greek potatoes and rice round out a perfect meal. Oh, and the lemon rice soup ... amazing! The patroness is sweet and friendly! A gem in the northwest suburbs.

The food here is utterly amazing! My friend and I were passing through town and stopped here for lunch. I love Greek food and I'm pregnant so I took the chance on this random little place- boy am I thrilled I did! The menu is big, and the portions are too! The owner is beautiful and insanely nice, she could be anybody's grandma! As soon as I saw her, I knew the food was going to be killer. She came over and talked with us and made us feel right at home. We got a few different dishes to try and every one of them was simply incredible!! We live an hour away, and we both kept saying the rest of the day we couldn't wait to come back!

I can't say enough good things. Does not matter what you get. We usually reheat the fries to make them extra crispy but that's it. Hidden gem.

Pretty good restaurant. There isn't many Greek restaurants in the area so this one works. They are priced reasonable and portions are great. Will come again.

Casual dining where you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Avgolemono $5 - Tasty chicken broth, rice, and creamy egg lemon soup. Falafel (4) $5 - Crunchy and flavorful bites. Gyro on a pita $10 - I like how the tzatziki sauce is served on the side. Good tasting gyro. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2024

The lady working behind the counter was so sweet. We seated ourselves with the menu and she came to the table to ask us if we had any questions about the menu... and when we were ready to order, she will take our order at the counter. My husband ordered the Ambrosia Special and it is the perfect first meal to order here! Wow you get so much food and different dishes to try. I ordered the 1/2 chicken dinner and was blown away at the flavor of the gravy. The best I have ever eaten! The chicken fell off the bones and even the bones were breaking up... that is how tender the chicken was! So so so delicious! I recommend you dine here! You won't be disappointed! The people working here are so sweet and you can tell they really love their job! There is music playing quietly in the background... but loud enough to drown out the conversation at the next table. The restaurant is very clean too.

Well, it was hard visiting Ambrosia during Lent and my fast from meat until Easter. However, I was able to try a crispy falafel pita with fresh cut French fries. I can't wait to return and try a gyro or the roasted chicken that everyone around me seemed to be enjoying. The staff here are so friendly and family oriented. They went out of their way to greet our gathering and offered us each a slice of sweet, flaky baklava. The tables and chairs were a little sticky, but overall, this place has a warm, cozy feel with rich and flavorful food served by caring people.
